Alcyone and her siblings were named after the Pleiades star cluster - also known as the “Seven Sisters.” Technically she has three sisters and one brother... but she and her family are all stars in their own right! Alcyone, or “Aly” for short is a playful and affectionate girl. Eli- very friendly and social guy. He wants to be near you whatever you are doing. He came to us after being rescued from the outdoors and turned out to be very friendly. Henny Penny and Lady Justice - came in separately, but have been in foster care together and become a bonded pair- a special needs pair. Lady J came in as a blind kitten. She may have a little vision in the one eye. This bonded pair is waiting patiently for their forever home with their foster family. While Henny Penny is very independent, Lady Justice seems to rely on Henny Penny in new and uncertain situations since she has very limited vision. Iris is a 6 year old DSH who would LOVE her own person! Iris is extremely affectionate and enjoys following her human around, watching TV, playing with her fluffy balls, and cuddling as much as possible. Little One Campbell, a very sweet but shy at first meet orange tabby who is not so little anymore, so we just call him Campbell! Peter - came to us in December of 2016 along with 3 siblings at just a few weeks old. All of his siblings have since been adopted and Peter still remains at our shelter, to no fault of his own. Over the years Peter became shy and scared of human touch however, recently our volunteers have been spending more time with him to help him adjust in hopes of finding him a forever home. Peter has become a completely different cat. He will come when called and does enjoy pets on his terms. He will sit on the arm of your chair with you and snuggle. He can be very skittish at times and will take time to get used to a new environment. Peter would do best as an only cat. He does tolerate others however, Peter's personality is very dominant and can be a bully. With a little love and a lot of patience, Peter would thrive in his forever home. Prue: This Tuxedo beauty is in search of a home that is quiet and peaceful. Her favorite things to do are lounging in her cat condo or observing what's going on around her. Talia- has a little mousy face, full of expressions making funny faces and makes funny chirpy sounds. She reaches great heights like a mountain goat if there is a ledge or footing. Talia is a bunny kicker. if she gets too frisky offer her a toy or redirect. She likes both cats and dogs. Watching birds out the window is one of her favorite things to do, and that's when you will hear the different noise she makes! She is a licker and besides cleaning herself she likes to make sure you are clean too! Talia loves sleeping next to humans at night and curls up next to you the whole time! She is quick by doors, as she wanted to get out and play with the other cats in her foster home. She may act shy at first, but once she knows you she will give kisses every night before bed and when she greets you throughout the day. Talia had a rough start, being rescued from the streets of Reading PA as a very sick kitten. Her foster mom could not keep her when she tested positive for FeLV. Taygete and her siblings were named after the Pleiades star cluster - also known as the “Seven Sisters.” Technically she has three sisters and one brother... but she and her family are all stars in their own right! Taygete is a sweet girl who LOVES to cuddle. She can be very demanding too when she needs her snuggle fix~ She is also very playful when she isn’t being a cuddle bug.
